The EIS property management team lead by Vice President, Director of Property Management-Kevin B. Logue, CPM has worked tirelessly after Hurricane Irma looking after their clients’ assets.
Last week prior to the storm, the team enacted their emergency preparedness and response program. The program entailed touring properties, meeting with tenants, and placing vendors on standby to ensure everyone and every property was prepared as much as possible for the storm.
Since Irma hit over the weekend and into Monday the team has been on 24 HR notice. The team was out assessing damage a few hours after the storm had left, even while many counties were still under curfew. They have overseen the safety of tenants and properties, and deployed vendors to help get the properties back up and running at 100% capacity. Some of these tasks included debris removal, emergency roof repairs, water pump outs, and repairs of downed power lines. In the past week, the team has driven over 2000 miles locally.
