EIS In The News: 2 Central Florida Publix Anchored Centers in the Works

Orlando Business Journal– Two Publix-anchored shopping centers — a new development in rural Lake County and a redevelopment in Kissimmee — are getting closer to an opening date.

Publix is slated to open a 46,600-square-foot grocery store in November in the new Sorrento Hills Village retail center near the planned Wekiva Parkway. The new 61,400-square-foot center, which includes five outparcels and additional small shop space around Publix, is about 50 percent pre-leased with tenants including a sushi restaurant, veterinarian, Chinese restaurant, nail salon and liquor store.
